SYNOPSIS: It is the spring of 1969. Libby Ewing is a shy ten-year-old who is ashamed of her dark skin. The family resides in a small all-Negro town in rural Mississippi where Libby endures emotional abuse from her father, her stern teacher who favors fair-skinned children, the irascible grocery store owner who believes she is a deaf-mute and the classroom bully who makes her the scapegoat of his own unfortunate life circumstances. The positive forces in Libby's world include the affable school librarian, Ma'dear's jocular cousin who dabbles in voodoo, and Ma'dear who dishes out wise sentiments with a touch of humor.

TITLE: TOO FAT to FLY SOUTH

SYNOPSIS: A big-bellied, food-loving, overweight glutton of a robin who has lost his ability to fly and sing is stranded in the snow and facing certain extinction in the deep freeze of a ferocious and unforgiving New England winter. As he prays for a miracle, a 12-year-old boy who suddenly became lame after his father's death, also prays for a miracle to heal his disabled leg. When the boy spots the helpless bird, he rescues him, then initiates a rigorous weight reduction program to help the bird fly and sing again. After some malicious attempts by the local cat, the weight-reduction program is resumed, the bird gets back to his normal weight and is ready for a test flight at a public park, for which the whole town turns out. The robin finally soars into the air and performs all sorts of aerial acrobatics and singing lustily and triumphantly. Then, in a surprise twist of role reversal, the grateful robin shows his appreciation by coaxing, cajoling, and exhorting the boy into regaining the use of his disabled leg. And soon, the boy himself is running, jumping, leapfrogging, and performing terrestrial acrobatics of his own.

SYNOPSIS: A young girl, Susan, finds a large, empty treble clef music staff in a garden and is polishing it. An Angel appears and tells Susan she is the "A" note on the staff, but she became an angel when all the notes ran away to become personified. She sings her note and starts to cry. When Susan asks why she's crying, a Bee flies in and tells Susan Little Billy's piano teacher gave them all to him to play, and he did such a terrible job everyone left, and now they're lonely. Susan offers to write a new song and gradually the other notes, now a Centipede, a Daisy, and Eagle, a Fairy, and a Ghost come back. Susan has great difficulty getting everyone to co-operate, but eventually she succeeds in writing a song with all their help. The story is a simple introduction to music: notes, time signature, rests, etc., and a parable for the value of co-operation in reaching a goal that is in the interest of everyone involved.

SYNOPSIS: The Rainbow Troop is a group of 5 little girls and their Scout Leader. They are a feisty, funny group with each girl having a distinct personality, e.g. the brain, the naughty one, chubby, goody two shoes scared of everything and the wise-cracking girl with false bravura. Also the little shrimp whose short, fat, little legs can hardly keep up with the others, etc. They are of various ethnicities. They are a spunky group with a good sense of humor. These stories are aimed at 3 to 9-year-old girls. There will be lots of singing and dancing and it will be a mini-musical. These are our mini Britney Spears girls.

Cecil encourages her to let go of her guilt, remember the past and live for the future.

Myrtle, a brunette with pretty bangs and petite is wife and Lead Role who sits alone in a dimly lit 1930's storefront telephone exchange office as the only operator. While her husband, Winnie, the lineman, tries to fix power lines and restore service amid thunder and lightning during a heavy rainstorm.

SYNOPSIS: In this episode the four bungling family members of 1776 Wong Way has trouble with Frankie, a harmless pet boa constrictor, a neighbor, who breaks out of his aquarium to see what's happening. But he, (or she, since no one can tell the difference) poses no real threat except in size, making those who crosses his or her path wary that he'll put the big squeeze on them.

One boring afternoon, Calvin and Sunny find a computer disk on the sidewalk. They pop it into the computer, and discover a treasure map. The children have a Venice Adventure looking for clues while running from the villainous pirate, Pitchfork Pete.
